Ceramic boards – what should you know about them?

Ceramic boards are undoubtedly one of the best choices a customer can make. The surface is highly resistant to scratches and other mechanical damages so it is perfect for frequent, intensive use. Due to the fact that after many years it can be reused in the recycling process, it is environmentally friendly.

A confirmation of the highest quality of Memoboards ceramic boards is the guarantee we give – up to 25 years! However, before we decide to buy a ceramic board, it is worth to learn more about it and consider its main purpose – whether to write more or to use it for projection?

Ceramic boards’ surface can have one of three degrees of matt: low, medium or high. The higher matt, the better projection properties, because it does not reflect the projector’s light and gives an equable distribution of light beams. Nevertheless, you have to keep in mind that the higher matt, the lower degree of abrasion of the boards, that is why it is harder to remove traces from the dry-erase ink marker. For this purpose you have to use a special surface-cleaning fluid.

Memoboards offer high matt ceramic boards (TExxALM), which are mainly recommended as the projection screens. Of course, you can also write on them with dedicated markers for dry-erase boards. However, please remember to use cleaning fluid regularly!
